Daily flag quiz
Thirty flags, the same for everyone, once a day. A new set arrives at 00:00 UTC, and today's is already waiting on the globe.

How the daily works
The set is drawn from the date, not at random: on any given day every player gets the same thirty flags. The rest of the globe already stands under its own flags, locked and out of play, so the missing thirty are the whole question. Each flag has three tries; one Name, one Hint and one Skip are free for the round, and after the third miss the globe flies to the right country and places the flag itself. When the last flag lands, the clock stops and the card shows the score line — flags placed, accuracy and time.
Once a day
A daily round is played once. The card on the home page keeps today's result rather than a best, because tomorrow's set is a different one: open the game again the same day and you get the result card back, not a second attempt. The first finished round of the day is the one that counts, so a round with a hint in it stands as it was played.
Streak
Finish the daily on consecutive UTC days and the card keeps a streak — a flame with the number of days. Miss a day and it starts again from one. The streak lives in your browser and, with an account, travels with the result to your other devices.
The board
Results of signed-in players go onto the board on the home page, ranked by time, with accuracy printed beside every time. The board is visible to everyone, signed in or not, and it starts empty again with every new set. A round played before signing in that same day is sent up the moment you do. The board stands on trust: the game runs in the browser and the server takes the numbers as they come, which is why accuracy is shown next to the time — a fast round full of skips is easy to tell from a good one.
Sharing without spoilers
Share posts the score as a grid of squares: green for a flag placed on the first try, yellow for one that took a miss or a hint, red for one the globe placed for you. The grid never names a country, so a friend who has not played yet can still take the same set fresh.
Tips
A hint before a guess is cheaper than a guess before a hint: every miss costs a try, and the three facts — region, coastline and neighbours, language — are free once. Small islands are worth zooming in on: the drop tolerance is about 22 pixels, and from far away a neighbour is often closer than the island itself. If a flag is a complete blank, Skip keeps the clock moving; the globe shows the answer and the streak does not mind.
FAQ
When does the set change?
At 00:00 UTC, for everyone at once. The board resets with it.
Can I replay today's round?
No. One result a day is the point of the mode: it is the same test for every player. Thirty flags deals a fresh random set as often as you like, and All flags is the full deck.
Do I need an account?
No. The round, the result card and the streak work without one. Signing in with Google puts your result on the board and carries it to other devices — see the privacy policy for what is stored.
What else is there?
All flags — the whole deck of 235, timed. World capitals — thirty capitals instead of flags. Flags of the world — every flag of the deck with its name, capital and a fact, to look up before or after a round.
